Chris Davis - Executive Director

Christopher “Chris” Davis is a native of Charleston. He began his journey with The Haven on July 2nd, 2019. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art at Greenville College with a minor in Philosophy and Theology. He also holds a master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in Art. His work career has been in management, including restaurant, retail and property.

Alexis Morton - Shelter Services Coordinator

Alexis Morton is from Bloomington, IL she moved to the area in 2014. Alexis started her passion at The Haven in October of 2019. She studied at Lake Land College in Early Childhood Education. Alexis plans to continue her education in Social Services at Eastern Illinois University. Alexis resides in Neoga with her four-year-old son.

James Hobson - Support Staff

James Hobson came to Mattoon, IL in 2011 and stayed at the former P.A.D.S. for about 6 months. In 2017-2018 he started volunteering at P.A.D.S. Three months later, he became the overnight person, so he has been here at what is now "The Haven" from the beginning!

Ralph Pearcy - Support Staff

Ralph Pearcy is a native of Charleston. He lived in Michigan for a while. His passion is computer/electronics. He has a daughter. He graduated from Ludington High School in Ludington, Michigan in 2003. He is looking to further his education in computers. He started at The Haven in January 2020. He is the current webmaster of The Haven website.

Kami Pearcy - Support Staff

Kami Pearcy is a native of Charleston. She graduated from Charleston High School. She resides in Mattoon. She started at The Haven in February 2020. She plans to further her education in Business Management.  She started at The Haven in February 2020.
